Sculptures in stone and bronze for both public and private orders, fountains, art constructions, art projects, and commissioned works. In his artistic work, sculptor Horst Bohnet is devoted to themes such as man, relationships, and metamorphosis. Thus, he creates figurative, objective and abstract works which serve to stimulate both play and thought. In his work, Horst Bohnet likes to imitate everyday life. A mattress, a cocoon, a gugelhopf (cake) or a smartphone (mobile phone) all come alive through artistic transformation and begin to communicate with the viewer. Horst Bohnet animates his art in partially meditative work. Within his works lie years of his life, and the manual labor is only part of a long process. His strongest ambition in his work is to create things that are beautiful and lasting in the midst of an increasingly fast-moving world.
